The Prestigious Mentorship and Volunteerism Excellence Awards celebrates Individuals, Groups and Organizations based on the spirit of Mentorship and Volunteerism demonstrated through active, unpaid involvement in and contributions to their community, country and the continent.
The project also aims to recognize and celebrate outstanding individuals and organizations in mentorship and volunteerism, promoting a culture of excellence and social impact.
The MVE Awards marks the final program of the National Mentoring Month (July) and the National Mentoring Day (18th July) celebrations, which also commemorates the Late Nelson Mandela and his legacy (Mandela Day).
Harnessing the next generation of ethical leaders will be critical if achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals is to be possible – they bring fresh perspectives, open minds, different values, tech savviness, and an appetite for disruption; mentorship and volunteerism is a catalyst in reaching these end.
