We are honored to announce the nominees for the 6th Mentorship and Volunteerism Excellence Awards (MVE Awards) 2025! This prestigious event celebrates individuals, groups, and organizations that exemplify the spirit of mentorship and volunteerism through their unwavering commitment to creating positive change in their communities, countries, and across the continent.
Discussions at this year’s summit and awards event will be premised on the theme, “Reimagining Mentorship and Volunteerism in the Digital Era: Technology, Transforming Practices, and Connecting Communities,” highlighting the transformative role of technology in shaping the future of mentorship and volunteerism. The awards, which will serve as the highlight of the day, will honour individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication through selfless contributions to the advancement of others, particularly the youth, as well those who foster significant progress in mentorship and volunteerism.
The National Mentoring Day celebration, held on 18th July 2025, was a powerful demonstration of collective action in youth development. The highlight was the Impact Series, a collaborative initiative featuring volunteer mentors and partner organizations including: ICS Africa, Studentpreneur Africa Network, GhanaThink Foundation, Blossom Academy, Girls’ Education Initiative of Ghana, and National Youth Authority

Together, these partners directly engaged over 900 participants, delivering mentorship, skills development, and inspiration. The event not only celebrated mentorship and volunteerism but also reinforced a shared commitment to inclusive growth and opportunity for young people across Ghana.
This celebration marks a pivotal step toward an ambitious goal: mentoring 1 million youth and startups by 2030. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, this vision seeks to empower the next generation, ensuring no one is left behind. Through technology, strategic partnerships, and community-driven efforts, the initiative aims to create lasting impact—equipping young Ghanaians with the tools and confidence to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

The 6th edition of the MVE Awards builds on a legacy of honoring extraordinary achievements. Each nominee has demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and impact, embodying the values of service, community impact, leadership, and collective growth. Details of the event are as follows: Date: November 15, 2025, Venue: Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre for Excellence in ICT, Accra
